You still haven't justified why. I've given you plenty
of examples of why not.

I use X-Windows all the time over an ISDN line and I *KNOW*
the how poor the speed is. I also use Java for client
side tools and I *KNOW* how much better it is. I'm hoping
the day isn't too far off when all the tools I need are Java
so I can dump X-windows (for client/server communications).
