Andy - Re: " What do you think the probability is of this happening?" The probability is 100% in my opinion. However - that begs the question as the WHEN they will do this. I really hope they are laying out the FIRST Mendocino to the 0.18 micron design rules/process - it will be a 6-layer metal process. Then it can be used as yield vehicle for the 0.18 micron process while Merced is being completed. This strategy has a lot of risk so I wouldn't bet on it, however. Intel is generally a bit conservative in this area (but not always!). Paul
