Rainier,

Just received this info today on ISIS, FWIW:

ISIS PHARMACEUTICALS continues its research and development work on anti-sense
compounds, proven effective in treating a variety of cancers and eye diseases.
The company has now been cited by DARPA, the Defense Department advanced
research program, for developing products that may be effective against viral
and other diseases capable of being spread by biological terrorism.ÿ This
application would create significant demand for what otherwise might be very
esoteric drugs with limited commercial potential.ÿ The announcement is seen as
an attempt to generate more interest in the work being done by ISIS.ÿ

Hope this helps a little.

Franco

[Ascending triangle/ISIP response] Rainier, good to see the TA. Good news out today. While people who follow the stock knew new the FDA NDA filing was imminent, it and the $20m milestone payment will cause new investors to look at it, and will see the positive developments.

biz.yahoo.com

came out after the bell. Also, Zacks rating has gone up in last two weeks from a 1.6 from a 1.8 (2 strong buys, 3 buys)

I'm afraid I underestimated the scope of my biotech review. I'm most of the way thru gathering info on several biotechs and the sector in general. A while ago you asked about best ideas/stocks. Mine is the biotech SECTOR. Companies I'm reviewing are BTGC, ISIP, VICL, LGND and TRIBY. LGND looking very interesting with the number of fruits just about to ripen on the vine, lots of good news and an expected turning profitable next year. Loosing internat access while in Philly set me back, as well as catching up on the homefront. Will be going to Chicago for a few days, will probably post (long) when I return.

With all the above the risk/reward is far better than ever before, while all are still substantially off their highs. Scott
