Re. MSFT breakup:

1. Days of U.S. socialism are over. No way will Congress as a whole be anti-microsoft esp. given fact that economy has been driven by technology. Most lawmakers are old enough to remember 15 yrs ago when Japan was leading power and US was second fiddle. Things changed because of productivity increases enabled by US technology.
This whole event is driven by F.O.B. who are large political contributors.

2. In event of breakup (remote possibility): check out the value of the AT&T spinoffs - ie the new AT&T, the baby bells and LU.

I continue to see this as a buying opportunity.
I spell situation win-win-win
