Favorite Stocks: TAVA (Factory Floor embedded systems), MAST (Consulting w/diverse Indian facilities, CDO (Testing), Long-Term High-Tech Mix

Investment Style: Used to hold 60% long-term & 40% short-term (weeks/months) - ALWAYS keep core position of what I like. Have SO much belief in TAVA, it's now 90% of holding.

Experience: Several years. Depend on others for TA. I base decisions on LOTS of research, societal trends & mass psychology.

Cheryl, Congratulations! But what you are doing is akin to gambling AND a terrible example for others (as far as investing).

I will apologize again for my "naive" comment ... but diversification is very important. No matter how much you research a situation, something can go wrong. Diversification also applies to industry sectors; being 100% invested in Y2K is (IMO) also a mistake (as would being 100% short Y2K<g>).

I've been managing my own money for longer than I care to admit ... and I've been burned by some sure things. But I have always been careful and no one stock can hurt me significantly. Of course this reduces your return (over-diversification is also a mistake). The last few years are heady ... I've been almost perfect ... but NEVER confuse a bull market with brains!

Talking with a financial advisor might be helpful. You probably wouldn't have done nearly as well, but IMO you are playing with fire. I'm sincerely glad to hear you have other assets.
