Why don't you try calling the IR dept. of a company like Lucent. I called them to ask questions about the Metro Optical Line Solution(OLS) that Lucent claimed in a press release in Sept. of '97 to have available by the end of that year. Not only the folks at IR, but also the people at the division(IR referred me to these people) that supposedly makes the product, have never even heard of the product, let alone know anything about whether or not it is actually available for testing even. After some digging, they were able to find a dusty brochure that says nothing more(or less, even) than the press release....which, by the way, seems to be the sole documentation of this product in existence. Oh, speaking of documentation, i was also referred by the same division(before they realized that they had a brochure) to the technical documentation dept of Lucent. The guy i spoke with there had no idea what that product was, and he didn't seem to have any way of finding out. He didn't even have a computer that he could do a search on or check out the press release i was referring to on the internet. He said if i faxed him the press release, he might be able to fax something back to me...but couldn't promise anything. So i called the division back...that's when they found the brochure. As of this point, they are in the process of trying to locate someone that might have some idea what this product is, as well as other specifics...if there ARE any. Now, if you try calling Osicom IR, surely you can get much more info than this about Osicoms products....in fact, they even know enough about other products. While they had no idea about the specifics of this Lucent product, they HAD heard of it while Lucents own people had not. How's *that* for IR?

Any comments, Mr. Scott Bailey?<<

No comment from me. The poster seems to be asking for some fluff news story to bolster the price. Which is also what you are after. There have been a few news releases since our last conversation. Little move in the price as a result. Didn't I tell you that would happen? You rant and rave about how come they won't put out any news and then they do and the price sits there. Just like I told you.

Investors relations alone does not a company make. I am 100% sure that if all a company ever did was to issue 10Q's that showed sequentially improved earnings by 25%, the stock would go up even if they never released 1 single piece of news. Yes maybe I mispoke about your unhappiness with FIBR, what I meant to say is I think you have a misunderstanding of what will increase shareholder value. It's 1 thing, profit, not news, not feel good IR's not if CC never posts here again, nothing else. So decide on the chances for earnings and place your bet. But don't go whining for some news release.
