David -- Great to hear from you! There are some real yahoos on that yahoo board, eh? Anyway, hope all is well. Let us know if you hear anything from PLAT IR...and I agree -- if it is true, we might actually see the stock price go up AFTER earnings this quarter, unlike the last, oh, 16 or so quarters.... Most likely, earnings will be out on Thursday April 16. PLAT Managment has not said otherwise. Also, I believe the shorts are going to get burned here because Mr. Short is thinking PLAT is not going to meet the estimate of 150 to 160 million and earnings of at least .02 If PLAT was not going to meet the above it would have been preannounced on March 25, the beginning of the quiet period. Therefore, it is logical to assume that PLAT will meet or beat. If we beat then the stock goes to between $30 and $40 -STAIGHT UP- not a little at a time: Given all the short covering that will take place. Latest rumor is that SoundView became VERY strong buyers since $22. We'll see what happens. I believe that the shorts are going to lose this battle. PLAT wouldn't be announcing so early if the picture weren't bright.
