I don't mean to defend management. I'm very concerned about their ability to bring the company back to it's former glory. I'm reserving judgement until after the earnings release. I may have to extend that reservation depending on what happens.

Now is a time that management really needs to concentrate on making decisions that are good for the long term growth and well being of the company. I hope they don't end up making decisions that appease the angry mob in the near term but really aren't good for the company long term.

It seems that everyone is assuming that earnings are going to be terrible. We don't know that. The street is not always right. If it were there would never be upside surprises. There are not very many semi stocks that have done well as of late. The street is not favoring very many.

Go to comparison charts and look at the 12 month comparison charts for crus and some of the big boys. I checked this about a week or so ago. CRUS is around the middle of the pack and this is in comparison to some big names. I would have posted a link but i've tried it and it doesn't seem to work.

The comparison charts are one of the most awesome features of SI, I just wish you could post links to them here.

I just went and did a chart on some of the more recognized names. 50 week chart
IBM +29%
TXN +15%
CRUS +2%
INTC -8%
MOT -9%
NSM -11%
MU -28%

There are some big names doing worse that crus over the last 50 weeks.
Granted the 20 week I'm sure looks alot worse but it's not like crus is going down while the other players in their industry are shooting up.
