Actually, I saw Chan mention StochDMI(8/5) and StochDMI(14), and just extended the concept to 34/13:

Dave.......and "Surfer"...and everyone..........the StochDMI BEARS LOOKING INTO!
I've found that.........
1. The StochDMI seems to turn both up and down off its overbought and oversold levels about 1 DAY EARLIER
than the StochRSI, and
2. It's swings indicate a MORE ACCURATE DIVERGENCE to Price (accurate in letting one know when the steam
is running out of a run).

I've tried it both at Dave's level (14's) and at Andy's level (8,5), and find the above to be true at both time horizons.
Oh yes, Andy, DMI stands for Dynamic Momentum Index in MSWIN, don't know if it's in WOW.

Brooke......Jan's formula is very interesting, and along with a companion formula using 13,5 instead of 34,13 as in his, one gets some interesting signals.
