Well, the "less than 8,000" estimate I had for placements was proved to be overly generous - only 5,000 placed. They had 70,000 units that were supposed to be placed this year according to their earlier business plan. I would like to believe that they can get things back on but the tract record so far indicates otherwise. I'd sure like to see a spreadsheet for the numbers they expect to achieve.

Still, if they make even minor progress toward the earlier goals the stock could become a darling and get pumped up much higher.

Dear Maakamil,

I was fascinated to read your recent comments. Especially:
"My conclusion--although John (Liviakas) is certainly not the hypster that many of his critics claim. . . "

How did you reach this conclusion? Was it that he owns more stock in USWDA that anyone? Was it that he paid prices not available EVER to you and me? Was it that the SEC is investigating him, that he has been barred from the National Investor Relations Institute, and his very position with USWDA is a clear conflict of interest?

Certainly as a psychologist you understand his pitch. Focus on greed. Facts are non-existant. Review his comments on the company. He has a perfect record of being wrong. Look at his other companies, same track record.

If you like the company, fine. But saying Liviakas is not a hype-artist is incorrect.

p.s.: I am extending an open invitation to Liviakas: I will place $100,000 in an escrow account to be matched by Liviakas. If the company makes $2.00 per share in 1999, he wins. If not I've made another easy $100 big by being a Liviakas contrarian.

I'm not expecting to hear from him soon!
