Gord, thks.. My initial reaction when you mentioned it was disbelief, however after thinking about it and my experience with Rev Can its not surprising at all. The old heads they win, tails you loose... Appreciate the post, makes for another reason to open a US broker account, chances are RevCan would never be able to pick up on a tax free spin off. Scott PS: There is a pretty good thread here on SI on Spin off's based on the work of Joel Greenblatt on spin off's, great book by the way.
