So it isn't even running right now. Why is the engine apart? Choose your answer A or B: A) I wanted to change the cam timing by 4 degrees, install Aluminum race modified heads, road racing oil pan with baffles, add an air oil cooler to the system with the water based oil cooler, and generally increase by another 35 or so horsepower out of the engine. 375 or so horsepower is always more fun. :-) B) I cracked the number 7 cylinder wall when the radiator got a leak on the track and caused an intake water jacket gasket to fail and direct coolant inject the motor while the water based oil cooler super heated the oil and cause lubrication destruction of the lower end of the engine. The spin-out when the coolant spilled on the tires was fantastic. My passenger was sure we did two and hour revolutions of spinning. It was really about 120 degrees in one direction, followed by an over correction to about 75 degrees the wrong way in the other, followed by about 45 degrees countered and by that time I got it under control an drove down the track at a slower speed. Never left the pavement, but boy I was busy keeping the round things on the flat black thing. :-( To wit my dear wife says "What is that doing in the Garage, and when will it ever roll again!!!" See, does not understand the enjoy factor of riding ASND from $40 to $22 to $40. Huh, a round trip as of today.......maybe we can return to up, which is why I bought ASND in the first place. The CC should let us know if our future is bright. I'll write what my fingers can keep up with during the live one. Dennis
