Great post thanks for all of us who have stood by RNTK for so long we have always believed.

Dear Modano-

What a terrific piece of investigative reporting!

I will sleep better tonight, too ... although I may do just a couple of extra tosses and turns ...

What I'm about to say in no way is shooting the messenger ... at most, it's kind of throwing a small spitball at the MESSAGE.

---Not talking exclusively to Texaco
---Currently talking to 7 or so other companies
---Could not say if the deal was 2 weeks or 2 months away (or if it will happen at all).

Yes, yes these are out of context ... and the context was very, very positive and enthusiastic, as you conveyed so well.

But for people who have been guessing consummation of the deal today, tomorrow, or the next day ... that has to be a LITTLE disappointing.

I agree that the wide-ranging talks with other companies could be a negotiating tactic to keep the pressure on ... but it seems to me that they would NOT be typical tactics in the very late stages of a "done deal."

All I'm saying, at most, is that I am now thinking that the Texaco deal is further away than most of us were hoping.

I intend to keep my RNTK shares tucked away safely. Indeed, I am intending to pick up more at the current prices. I have full confidence that we will all end up happy ... but I suspect we'll need to be even more patient.

Just IMHO. Many thanks again for the diligent work and for the sharing.
