DavidK: RE:<Brinker getting reluctant to give advice on individual stocks on the radio, and reluctant to try and call short term moves of the market.>

The individual stock advice was given in his newsletter and on NBR (TV). On the radio, he has answered questions about some of those recommendations. But the caller Jerry seemed most intent on getting Brinker to admit he was wrong. Jerry also called Brinker's integrity into question by accusing him of "Spinning" so as to avoid admitting his stock recommendation and timing was wrong. This is no way to treat "The Golden Goose" ! People like Jerry should stop listing to Moneytalk and take their investment advice from Mr. BowTie or Michael Metz or Smokin Joe Granville.

Brinker does not call short term moves in the market. He asserts that a 10% correction is normal and can happen any time. Brinker's focus is LONG-TERM Market Timing. He does announce attractive buy points in the market in advance.
