bruin, THANKS!! But I WANT to hear Ma & Pa gushing at the 7-11! <g> Have I called Chris yet? Once. But I got his voicemail and I didn't leave a message because I was getting ready to leave soon and I knew there wasn't anyway for him to reach me by phone. I guess I could've left my toll-free beeper number, but oh well. And since then, I just haven't had time to call. Ballard Power Systems (BLDPF) has developed fuel cells which are so far ahead of other solutions to alternative power sources for motor vehicles that Diamler-Benz bought 25% of the common stock, and jointly invested $250 million with Ballard to create a new company, DBB Fuel Cell Engines. Ford, Chrysler, GM, Volvo, VW, and Honda have also purchased from Ballard. There are no earnings yet, and probably won't be for years. Nevertheless, the stock has run from $20 to over $120 in a year on the anticipation of big earnings to come, because the potential market is so huge. Comments?
