Normally I would not respond to a comment such as this, but this time I will make an exception. The Innovacom chip which is coming is very different from which others are producing. The chief difference is the amount of ancillary equipment needed to run it. Other companies require routers to complete the system. Innovacom has put in the necessary memory in the chip circuitry. CUBE for instance requires two chips in it's "professional" encoder. One chip looks at the one frame and another looks at the next frame. Innovacom does not require an additional chip. A chip as sophisticated as is proposed by Koz would naturally require a longer time to develop.
