That was a good one Ole 49'er. Re not being able to repatriate the Euro$, I got this little investment book from the WSJ a few years ago and they describe the Euro$ as US dollars on deposit in overseas banks that are no longer redeemable for gold. What do you make of this? I can't figure out whether they are implying that there are still $ out there redeemable for gold, or whether they just were once upon a time. Can you offer any insight?
