jeffrey, my "rationale" such as it is, lacks a spreadsheet basis and I therefore feel you will find it lacking, but. .. .RMBS seems to have a shot at the PC and the non-PC world. Their IP rights extend to playstations, HDTV, STB's--the whole consumer appliance spectrum. So if you look at a piece of silicon real estate, I think theirs will be a fatter slice of a larger number of pieces. Of course, DPMI's masks will play a large role in the same process, just not as large or over as wide a playing field, IMO. Thus, the overweighting.
CIEN is getting in to a swimming pool full of great whites--I can't for the life of me see them owning a DPMI like market share when they have to go up against LU/GLW/NT/TLAB types and sell to the ever larger telecoms who, it seems to me, will want to buy from their peers. I'd rather own UNPH purely out of niche dominance considerations. Make any sense to you? Mike Doyle
