<< 3com isnt teamed with LU, and they now have the manufacturing capabilities they need. as for prices, WSTLs equipment is easier to use and deploy according to the last report i read. URSs modem was pretty good, but just not as good. IMHO, i think they will pay a little premium for WSTL equipment.>>

Sorry to admit it but I was not aware 3COM has its own ADSL modem. Could you provide any details, such as DMT or CAP?, speed capability?, who is the chip supplier? what is the cost? how long their modems are in field tests? Are any ISP providers testing besides RBOCs? Any speculations why COMS stock was performing so poorely as of late?
