What you are doing, Chris, is assuming that your belief system is the absolute truth as far as homosexuals are concerned. There is significant modern medical evidence that homosexuality is mostly genetic, but in any event determined before a child is born. The homosexual is not sinning in any way; it is a trait, not a moral failing. It is issues like homosexuality where Christian belief systems do actually influence the legal system in the United States, allowing discrimination against homosexuals in employment, housing, and creating an atmosphere where hate crimes against them can happen.
