North Sea Brent is up $0.14. No new weakness in Europe for SLB and CXIPY. Venezuella told its customers it could not supply them enough because of its voluntory cut-back (believe that?) Indonesia energy minister was touting oil price saying he expected oil to gain $3 with their recent agreement (already reflected in price today!!). All in Bloomberg energy. ps - that % William has been right on. I also see most ingredients for a short term bottom here. Marc - Four drillers at one time is my max. Anything over will be a big portfolio. Ideally I stick with two. Using stops is good intraday but selling into strength is a more disciplined way to unload when TA and other six sense say it is near or at the top. If wrong, buy back in at higher price and lose that few points. Hard to be wrong this way unless we are going straight up like in April - Aug 97. Were you there? Diamond - you need to open a discount brokerage account. With commission of $10-$12 per trade, comission is no longer part of the profit/loss picture. Ask yourself has you decided to buy or sell anything because you are concerned about the cost of the commission. If so you need to open a discount brokerage account and trade online. ESV - with its relative weakness recently versus others, ESV should spring back to gain more percentage wise versus others if we rally. However, if ESV is still stuck and others rally, something we don't yet know has got to be holding it back. Be careful because it could be a dud short term. I bought ESV too yesterday!
