<<He still longs to be invited to the house-warming party in Bill's new riverside home>>

One of the dumbest mistakes Benhamou made was to be on the Netscape board of directors. A minor consequence was MS Network didn't support x2. A probably more significant consequence was MS's network partnership with Cisco and Intel. Does Bennie have commonsense?

Mang.

I would look at this as a victory for 3COM.
Nothing in the law, I believe, would prevent MS from using the term "palm-sized" with or without Coms permission.

The purpose of the litigation MAY have been to prevent confusion, and it would be hard to argue that confusion now exists between the term PalmPilot and palm-sized PC.

As part of what is a well orchestrated press release the cooperation and standing is reinforced.

The real battle will take place on the operating system level. And without really knowing what I am talking about I think COMS is still open, while CE and CE2 are still closed.
