Dan,
Excellent observations on IRF. I think you are right on the money.
You mentioned something about a buy out...could you elaborate a
little more on that. To my knowledge the Lidows would never
entertain a buy out.

Marvin

Hi Dan.

This chart does look very compelling -- stock price hasn't been below this price since 1994, note:

Can someone with spare energy for a newbie give a compelling business case for IRF? ie: what's hot, why this company 'can't go away'.

Dan, if you have some resources you can point me to on TA I'd be interested in seeing what you work from. I'm considering getting one of those spendy services that will give me 'current' market data in a
big daily download so I can do some serious number crunching, though I pretty much have been using a discount to growth approach. You've obviously had better experience with TA than I, and are clearly more knowledgeable as well.

The last time I put a lot of faith in a chart I got killed. Please note:
exchange2000.com
At 12/96 this chart shows that this company had not stayed under 6 for a whole quarter since 1992. book value of 6, new products coming out..., in my mind it was a 'safe' play, great risk/reward potential. Then if you see 1997...,ow!.

Since this, I put very little faith in charts. But I do watch volumes and ranges when figuring when to get in/out of something I like.

All input appreciated.., thanks
-Kevin

PS. It'll be interesting to see what VLSI earnings do to its stock
price. DS missed its number today and still closed up.
