Dear Sam, I was born into a half Jewish and half Catholic home that became an athiestic house. I was not allowed in a Church or Synagogue by nature of disagreement between my parents. Through my search of world religions as and adult, and believe me it was extensive, I found my truth in the Spirit of Yeshua the perfect representation of the God that all men seek. The religious systems are not Him and without His Spirit I agree the Bible is just a book and of little value. The incredable part of this book is that he speaks through it to each person as an individual, we do not need teachers for He says He is our Teacher. I wish the rest of the world would accept that the Romans wrote the Bible so they would stop killing the Jews. How can anyone take a book and change it's authors and content? At least I searched for the truth objectively and took each book at it's own value. Making it change to suite my perception of truth would have been a lie to me and I would be better off accepting it or leaving it. I have not read the literature you are quoting so I refrain from further comment unless I read it. Please remember that most of us came to a relationship with Jesus on our own accord and not what we learned as children. Have a great day, Nancy

Sam, It sounds like another anti-christ deception you have stumbled into. The discrediting of the bible and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ comes from the spirit of anti-christ. The word says many anti-christs have come into the world, many deceptions. The devil's aim is always to keep anyone from accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We should not be surprised to hear of more and more false teaching about God and the bible and salvation in Jesus Christ. We were always warned it would happen. It is sad that anyone, including you Sam, are taken in and robbed of your eternal life by these tricks. The devil has seeded the whole world with traps and deceptions to snare people and keep them from Jesus. If one doesn't catch the unwary another might. Some are simple and some complex but he has fashioned them to appeal to as many as he possibly can. I pray you escape the false doctrines you are involved in. Bob PS Steven Hawking, a renowned physicist and one of the smartest in out time gives God the credit for creating the universe. He theoretically proves that the universe had to be created because it could not have happened on it's own. Read some of his work to balance out your research.
