Ore Processing Agreement Reached

Bohemia, NY. April 23, 1998 --- Kelcord International, Inc. (OTC-BB, KLCI), announces finalization of an Ore Processing Agreement with New Metals Mining Corporation of Nevada.

Kelcord will process ore for New Metals in a proprietary gas plasma processing facility to be completed this year. Details of the agreement call for Kelcord to receive a $100,000 cash payment at the commencement of processing in addition to recovery of processing costs and a percentage of per ton revenues scaling upward from 10% to 25% based on per ton revenue yields. The companies will share all information and developed technology relating to the concentration of the Ore.

Kelcord shall also receive 250,000 common shares of New Metal's stock at the commencement of ore processing. New Metals is in the latter stages of the public filing process and anticipates public trading to commence in 1998. Kelcord plans to distribute a portion of New Metals' shares on a dividend basis to Kelcord's shareholders in the quarter following receipt of the shares.
