DIMD..case for "street beaters" can't tell about pressures before earnings come out.. lots of these companies go into what I like to call 'anticipatory upswings' when they think earnings are going to be positive. Sometime they are substantiated as in the case of YHOO and sometimes they are unfulfilled as in the case of DIMD. Same thing happened with EGRP. The best way to trade these is just to buy on the rumour and sell on the news. Take the gains on the anticipation and sell before earnings. I had one good trade on EGRP last week on 'anticipation'.. If the earnings report is good there is time to catch this stock. If not in this run then in their next run. Stocks like COGNF, YHOO are in a "Street Beaters Hall of Fame" until they report again, destined to have many upswings when the market is up or even when the market trades sideways.
