this is one point for which i don't like the management team.
a more 1 mil shares buy-back is not a small ammount considering
the total outstanding shares of vvus, why the hell they don't
announced it but wait for the earning report ? plus all other
countries' approval. what the hell their public relation dept.
are doing ?

RT,

i see no reason to be glad. they spent $23.6 M on those shares.

their average purchase price is then $14.75.

what were they trying to do, start a new short squeeze?

i think it would have made more sense to *support*
the stock near its low (and end up buying more shares for
the same money) than trying to boost it on a rally.

thoughts?
