Clinton is a farce and a joke. The only good things he has done is surround himself with a few good sharp individuals like Rubin and Greenspan. The Republican Party, in my opinion is no better than Clinton. They are a moral farce too. For an economic and fiscal conservative but social liberal, there is no party today that represents Adam Smiths model of " laissez faire liberalism " : NO GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE in the economy, market and social and religious principles. Clinton and Congress are intellectual lightweights in comparison to Gates, Bible and Goldstone. I put my money where there is growth and creative intelligence. Clinton and Congress are in over their heads. For guys like Gates, Bible and Goldstone, Clinton and Congress are little silly putty in their hands. Don't worry here. This is one of the great opportunities in a lifetime to make a bundle. MO is an outrageous bargain!

"Personally, I find this argument to "protect our children" is way over done."

Exactly my point, I couldn't agree more. Every damn sound-byte sounds the same! "We are doing this for the children" "We must protect our children." "We must make tobacco suffer for targeting our children." etc, etc, etc. It is making me ill. Get a new line for crying out loud!

To Congress & the President:

WE THE PEOPLE, remember us? We can see right through all this BS. Just do the jobs your paid (overpaid) to do, and represent us! We want a fair settlement, and we want you to address the issues that should be raised. Stop hiding behind "the children" and get to work!

'nuff said, now DO!

I'm getting way too fired up over this, but it really makes me angry to see these arrogant politicians do what they please, and claim that they are doing it for us! When was the last time your Congressman called you to ask your opinion? When was the last time you heard a real answer by anyone in the federal government when asked a question?
Things have got to change, and I'm behind tobacco the whole way because they've got the money to fight!
