Watley is upgrading to next version of Ultimate Trader(Real Tick III) next week. SHould be nice!

I would give MB a chance. But if they don't pan out move on. Lots of other fish in the sea.

Lino,

The $300. 'deposit' at MB works as a last months rent, and is applied to your data fees if you ever decide to leave MB. The reason for this is that Townsend Analytics and S&P charge for the data at the beginning of each month. Incidentally, Watley and MB use the same Real Tick software from Townsend.

Lino,

I agree it looks weird the way MB required a deposit and put your trading on hold for several days after cash was WIRED to your account. (Recent posts concerning MB concern it allowing customers to short stocks which when none were available to MB for shorting. Whether this is true or not, bad news if true.)

DLJ-Direct did the opposite thing with me. Within a day of opening an account on line, I was extended $15,000 in trading credit.
