Mindmeld, Just one off topic question: If you could mindmeld with just one person, who would it be? *TOPIC BUTTON SWITCHED ON* All right everyone, I did some more research. I walked into a computer store and I saw 3 salesmen standing around talking so I asked em some questions: 1) I asked if they had any LS-120 drives for sale. Salesman #1 "No...but we can get em if you want". Salesman #2 "I don't think you want one of those...around here Zip is it..." Salesman #3 "We do have some Syquest drives..." Me: Would that be good for me? I was thinking about buying a G3 computer. All three Salesmen: Chorus of "Uhhhhh...." and "Giggle...snicker" I think this about tells the story. I am going to buy a bundle of Options. I think that Iomega should do some strong sales growth over the next few years just based upon this whole experience. I also had some time to look at all the demos... PC's of course are the cheapest out there. Most bang for the buck but I am so sick of Bill Gates and his clunky software. I really liked the 02 by SGI but for $5,000 or whatever it goes for, I think I should stay on the low end of the ballpark. The "PowerPCs" are pretty good but you really have to trick em out with max RAM and everything to really make em good Net surfers. The G3 computers looked the best, nice graphics, super fast, and with SoftWindows or whatever they call that software, you can run any PC games or apps around. The G3 kind of acts like a mini SGI. This all ties back into the impact of Iomega because it appears that Zip will be the standard disk for Apple. All you need is a CD ROM, a Zip, Softwin, and you can do just about anything a PC user would ever need. Just my humble opinion, -John
