I agree that the long-term performance by a co. is the important thing, with interim events being the peaks and valleys along the way (it actually should be phrased as bumps in the road). Those who do believe in the co. should view the current state as a notable buying opportunity.

I guess my concern is more of mgmt. quality. Does a co.'s mgmt. share the same outlook - long-term strategies should outweigh short-term considerations in most instances? Does mgmt. have a good operations guy (or gal) in place to manage the day-to-day so that the "vision" guy can do his or her job? Does mgmt. treat its shareholders w/ respect and view them as owners of the co.?

I think COHR would qualify as the affirmative in all the above. I think my original points of what mgmt. needs to be considerate about dovetail nicely into the above.
