Silicon Investor To: All on the Senco thread The Senco thread is picking up momentum. That's great! We will be sure to check in more often from now on. Late in March Senco was pleased to announce that production of the Company's model ONE residential carbon monoxide detector was underway. Units from this production run have been submitted to Underwriters' Laboratories in the US, as announced in the Company's April 9 news release. Many on-line investors have asked about our sales contracts, commitments, etc. As stated in our news releases, marketing is underway, response is very positive, and we will make announcements as developments occur. I found the McDonalds / Macintosh analogy entertaining, but not necessarily applicable here. There is a substantial difference between $1.50 fast food, $2,000 computers, and $50-65 residential CO detectors. Consumers buy CO detectors to protect themselves and their families from poisoning or death. Senco's model ONE CO detector is designed to fill the need for a reasonably priced, technologically advanced detector that addresses problems such as false alarming, lack of accurate low-level detection, and others that have plagued first generation detection technology. Perhaps a more applicable analogy would be that of the family going out for a fishing trip. Would most people buy the cheapest mass produced life preservers available, even though the media and safety officials have questioned their quality and reliability? Or, will people purchase life preservers employing the same proven life saving technology used by the safety officials themselves? Thanks for following Senco, and keep your eyes peeled for more Company news. Until next time. B. McLean (bmclean@sencosensors.com)
