James, I respect your insight and experience. Like I said earlier, I'm not pointing fingers and laughing. Everyone knows shorting stocks is a risky proposition to begin with. Every investor that shorts a stock should know the risks, esp. with these volitale tech stocks! Hell, that's why we trade them. It seems to me a lot of shorts don't know when to say when - kinda like this "bigger idiot" theory everyone keeps harping about on this thread, only in reverse...

The AOL problem Jill referred to may be because of the use of proxy servers, but who really knows or is gonna track that one down? I've accessed SI through both AOL and TCP/IP w/Netscape and IE. I've had problems with both. I'm surprised to hear Jill say it's an AOL problem - but I'm not in a position to argue. I believe its more a question of bandwith, then the AOL service itself. Let us know what Brad says.
