Any other thoughts WHY? they won't do 0.60+ cents this quarter?

Your extrapolation of the Saevik is a bit overdone IMO. In the last quarters conference call the company said the day rates on the North Sea operations would likely be lower than those reported in the single month because they were being asked for longer term contracts by their customers.

Zack's is reporting an estimate 45 cents for the next quarter. I would expect something in the middle depending on the downtime they are taking in the drydock and repair turn arounds.

As far as I'm concerned $0.45 or higher will be just fine.

Does TMAR really report earnings next week?

I think if they were really going to be blowing out earnings next week the stock would be doing considerably better.

I expect the earnings to be quite close to expectations. TMAR is not a very difficult company for analysts to read.

Actually, someone here posted his earnings estimate:

Nick, Debt servicing might shave a few pennies off of the earnings. Second Opinion agrees with you too- it rates TMAR as a "strong buy" and suggests that now "is a good entry point".

Wait one week though as I am short the April 22.5 call option right now, ha!

Sincerely,
