Wow... A man who sees the world as I see it... let's hope we're not both wrong... FYI the biggest mistake i have so far made in my investing life was buying TWX at 30 and selling at 60... i never should have sold... content is king and TWX is king of content. by the way the fragility of the internet providers is made obvious by the huge % of revenues that goes to advertising... ie creating a brand out of nothing... it never works forever because gradually the services are provided free...

FYI I am not saying that I haven't made mistakes that have cost me more... I have... lots... its just that those times I was wrong... to be right and not have the courage of your own conviction is the deepest cut of all

Sounds like you have been reading The Gorrila Game, if not, it is a good read. It talks in detail about how high PE ratios are granted those companies with not only a promising future but possibly a dominant/gorrila position.

Good Book!! Maybe YHOO is an example, maybe not?!

Mostly off topic

Hi Jacob,

Haven't talked to you in awhile.

Enjoyed your post! If I remember right you recommended BSX several months ago. I believe it was low 50s then, boy were you right.

What are your thoughts now on the best stocks to own?

Are you familiar with Orbital Sciences, ORBI? They launch low earth orbit satellites and seem to be very successful at it.

Keep thinking and posting,

Lee
