Scary story. I bought in at $3.00, and dumped another $1,000 into it when I thought they were through signing with MBOC. Again, I must be insane. But here's what's happening as of today. Talked to Ted today. The definitive merger agreement is now ready to go to shareholders and will. Fairness opinion (Racher, something like that) will determine what shareholders of OPPCF will get out of it is they want to sell. Company will have new name. Houston presence, office there now. Office is running. American Explorer has lots of leases, and very strong management. OPPCF was sitting up in Canada, and that is something of a joke. Now they can proceed as real players in the middle of their leases. Meridian is still in with all old agreements with OPPCF> That's something like 8% of all deals TMR owns or gets. Ted keeps saying CALL ME AT 1-800 NUMBER POSTED ON THIS THREAD FOR ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING. CALL HIM. HE'S IN HIS OFFICE AND THAT'S WHAT HE DOES. ANSWERS QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINS WHAT THE COMPANY IS DOING. So, the new merged assets will have lots of OPPCF cash in the bank. Lots more "treasure chest" leases waiting to drill (30,000 of it is at Ballentine field, or 35% interest in Ballentine field. Web site will now be a lot better. Should be looking good right now. www.optimatapete.com. More will be done to it. Ted cannot post here anymore. He just doesn't have time. He says CALL ME AND I'LL TALK TO YOU IN PERSON. The l0-K and link is up, so check the site for that and the press releases to date. Ted said OPPCF has had lots of potential, but the big missing components to moving into more earnings and more wells has been filled with what American Explorer has to offer. Now American Explorer moves onto the NAZ as the new company. They want a really up-town name. Can't use American Explorer, for some reason. TED SAYS CALL HIM AND HE'LL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. Anyway, at this point it certainly can't go anywhere but up. Ted and Bob are heavily invested and have sold nothing. Of course they want the stock to increase in value wiht everyone else. John, this must have made you very, very unhappy, and I'm sorry. I'm only in for 1000 shares and 800 more, so it's not a death sentence for me, but has also caused me massive stress as I was involved in stuff and making money on everything I touched until I got into $3.00 stocks and below. I don't know what to do, except I will certainly hold tight until July or so. If you were crazy enough, you might want to watch very, very, very closely and try to recoup some of it if all goes very smoothly here. American Explorer has done very well all on their own, but like all private companies, they miss the rush. So, now they want the rush of being on the NAZ, and will of course have more staff and players to get around and drum up interest. OPPCF NEVER DID. So. What do you make of this and the web site?
