Barbara, you are allowed to buy the may puts, get to save some of the premium errosion. We can't have it both ways. Or... buy in the money april puts, you're not paying much premium at all, you'll pretty much move 1 to 1 with the stock price (in either direction). Dave

Barbara that is why 10 days before expiration WS rattle the market to collect the premiums. I just wonder if all those buying index option "upstears" make any money at the end. Yes it is aluring and swings are high but why go against the house??? - e.g. the big brokerage houses?? Play with what you know or you can research. Market moves are fascinating but consistently winnig in index option is more luck than knowledge. Futures is a different animal and more profitable even that it is volatile. Happy trading to all, but do not give away your hard earned money to WS!!! BWDIK HAim
