Chris, I think what Sam was trying to say was about how Christians killed so many women in Europe during the Middle Ages during the witch burnings, and hated Jews so much because of ancient politics that they participated, at least passively, in the Holocaust, and were very brutal when they took over formerly pagan primitive peoples, and so on and so forth. There are so many examples I couldn't list them all here.

That does not mean that God did someone wrong, but more simply that religion seems to be a very divisive element upon humanity, particularly by its most fervid proponents.

It is hard to look at all of this objectively and see any Christianity at all, unless Christianity is a hard, cold, and blood lustful religion, and it does not seem in the spirit of Christ that it would be that way.
