Jim:

All one has to do is look at the consistency of the message, and the proven results over the past few years to know that Dell has their act together.

Dell: Gave the same story last year, last quarter, and today....
CPQ: One week says things are fine, two weeks later does a 180 degree turn and states it wont make a profit for the quarter....

Who do you think has a better handle on the business right now and going forward?

I can not believe your stated rational for continuing to devalue Dell..MD boring? Just because he says the same thing as always.....Anyone who knows anything about investing knows this is what it is all about.
Delivering on your message. Keeping a steady course. Investors love that! (Not too much of that exists in the so-called high-tech sector)

(You should know) investors hate volitility (in profits, in message, in vision)..Dell will more and more become a flight-to-quality play (like Microsoft and Cisco) and as a consequent will enjoy a higher PE in the future as a result...

I want Micheal to keep being boring (as you put it). Like W. Buffett.

Please stay on the thread, but offer us some (of your) better arguments for your position.

Respectfully....
