if nothing else these numbers provide the credibility the Street insists upon. Ashby has been providing guidance and has steered the understanding of the analysts very well to this very report. What they blew last July Ashby has restored 100% as of today and going forward. From my perspective hiring Ashby was almost as smart as doing the Cascade deal - and that was a brilliant masterstroke. It would seem management outran its talents vis a vis the investment community by the blunders of Summer '97 and in short order the Street pounded the lesson into them. they've learned from the painful experience, I'd say. Now with Q2 possibly already in the bag...hang onto your hats! Dee Jay
