Triquint warned last quarter also and VTSS did fine. Will it be the same story this quarter?

I agree, this guy is a moron spreading these earnings rumors. First of all, that analyst would
not have access to the numbers prior to the announcement, this is illegal and would constitute
insider trading information. Also, anytime a stock rises with lots of volume a few days before
earnings, this almost always signals as strong report coming. INformation may have leaked out to
some ahead of time, and it there was as shortfall, it would not have rose 3 3/8 points in a weak
chip market. This company is very well positioned to continue to grow strongly. The chip industry
is poised for a very very strong rebound soon, we are likely to see another 3 year boom cycle
coming up in early 99, if not starting late 98. You want to own Intel, Vitesse, Texas Instruments,
Altera, Xilinx and the like for the next cycle. I own Intel and have since 7-95. I remember spring
96 when everyone on wall st. hated intel to death, it was 28 per share at time. I had bought at 33
8 months prior... then it ran like a son of a bitch to 90 per share within 7 months... so watch
out.
