albert,

What's your opinion on the following AMD article:

<http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/980409/s_p_19.html>

The outlook is negative. Ratings reflect the company's continuing shortfalls in executing its business plan in a very competitive market, resulting in ongoing losses and substantially negative free cash flows.

Negative outlook, continuing shortfalls in executing, negative free cash flow. Sounds like a winner to me <ggg>.

albert - Re: "Intel is going to ship what 10K chips or maybe even 20K during 99..."

But it's the FUTURE that people buy into albert - the FUTURE expectations that drives up stock prices.

Since the K7 is so close, why haven't we seen HP or Compaq or Dell or DEC announce upcoming K7 support?

Maybe because they have ALREADY announced MERCED support!

Think about that for a while!
