lower q1 nubers are in TXN... I think, like with the other tech stocks its not what q1 looks like its what the company leads the anlyst to think the rest of the year will do. TXN's dram biz is a huge thorn in the but unless they get there current 64mb designs off with out hitch drams will loose money throughout 98 and even into 99. any news or "no news" from TXN about them leaving the biz will help the stock. but despite what i think TXN seems to be sticking with drams for now. therefore you are might be right it could tank into the low 40's yet the communication market is so stron and and ti's dsp sales will over take the loss in the other biz's
