eom, I mostly agree except I don't think there's be BIG surprises; ASND has learned the value of clear guidance, and while that successive guidance may provide confirmation of increasing growth, there won't be a huge upside result over the concensus because that'll piss off some in the Investment Community. Solid, foreseeable growth is better than a lot of (what's the term?) granularity to the Street and has the benefit of screwing the shortsellers who thrive on volatility. The SS's are the bane of any management's existence because they DO pay attention to what happens to the stock - 2 repricings of options prove the case.

<<I see all this as not so much a "we are going to the moon" scenario but rather a "this is limited downside risk.">>

Exactly. Backlog is building. ASND has gone in 3 quarters from a "scramble to make optimistic estimates", to "I will tell you the EPS number - count on it". That is great!

<< Say ASND misses by a penny in 3 months. Will it tank? I doubt it.>>

They won't.

<< Say CSCO misses by a penny in 3 months.....>>

Now now, Pete, thats not fair - CSCO is a great company - just not in WAN and RAS.
