Time is not wasted if you make the correct decision and say ONE did do such, at the time:
The Richard Mazz;;; ; Can't loose- No How- No Damn Way Formula! Gippy? All your fill was made in Maxam Gold; that is all declared last week. So with your diversification philo...maybe there is a reason that ....He Is Here. Investigative reporting...fact fainding and ticked that he doesn't have all the facts. So in order to throw a question back in, I say; have we all been too enthuestastic here, na - Has the blood been a running like you like; ya..lots. Are the same folks still here, DAMN right, Add that up and figure it out. Do you own sell decisions, and buys also. So that 110 Parts stuff ala Mr Z. is realy over 10, on a scale of one to ten, what do ya do when ya get about one instead of about ten, I know EXACTLY what ya do...YA MILL THE STUFF, till ya gots the stuff.

Chucka,

You are right more than you are wrong, just like my friend, POGO!

Bottoms are ugly, just damn ugly!! It surely looks darkest before the dawn!! Happens over and over again!

My sense is that all these negative posters are as I said yesterday " our friends in disguise". I stand by that statement! I state here that our greatest detractor, Mr. M, will be a future convert. He is just real paranoid about his investments. I have no problem with that. I am a little edgy about some of mine, too. He represents a very vocal sounding board to me and one which I listen to. Let him be a momentum buyer, and then let us forget all the negative and listen to him become more positive. That is the way it will happen in my estimation. We need to forgive in advance here and accept with open arms our former enemies and when the stock moves up from here, there will be many in need of our welcome!!

I do not set myself up as a person of any importance! I eschew that as I have seen the rise and demise of many of those. Any advice that you percieve here or anyplace else from me must be couched in terms of time frame and please do not misinterpret what I say to more sophisticated investors as a license to buy or sell. Know your time frames and know your relative position in the market that you trade.

Yesterday, I made a statement about the dollar and other currencies. Do not interpret that as a trend, for it certainly is not. The markets can reverse on a dime and you can trust me in that. It is for each investor to determine where his markets are and react according to his particular investment style. They did that somewhat today.

Some markets I watch pretty closely, and some I do not. When I talk about the S&P being overbought, you need to know the time frame, because that is important. The stock market is overbought, but that does not mean that it will go down tomorrow. What that means is that in a longer term view, it may go down substantially from todays levels. That does not say that it will not go to newer highs in the next month. The market has moved up for a long, long time. For most of that time, it has moved at a healthy incline which was not excessive. Many "gurus" have bailed out early. Never trust "gurus"!

Successive bailout of "gurus" does give an indication that the individual investor might take into account. Investor sentiment is important in this calculation. When the public is extremely bullish, look for a decline in the market. When the public is extremely negative, look for the market to rise. When the large funds are extremely positive and the public negative, look for the market to move up. When the funds and the public are extremely positive, bail out and watch out!!

Remember that there must be a buyer and a seller for every transaction. When the funds and the public are sellers, who buys? NADA!!

How would such a situation happen in todays markets? International financial collapse--not likely. Eroding earnings by major corporations--Much more likely. That is what I look for--eroding profitability, and it is surely complex as companies can mask that for years, but astute persons can see it happening, and I know that I have overstated my welcome here and will simply shut up!!

Bigmouth, probably wrong as usual, Jack!!

P.S--Ed Fishbaine--I am surprised that your wife can becon you away from your duties at such an advanced age! Congratulations to you!!

Hope you had a good "lunch"!!
