Re: "..the more i think that my comments in message 6085 may bear fruit"

Well, I had to go back and read them:

"syquest seems uniquely positioned for significant upward gain. product acceptance, strong order rate, adequate corporate monies to finance manufacturing expansion, iomega problems, plus iomega having spent millions to build product acceptance for a product that is no better than syquest all bring together a timely set of events that syquest can only benefit from. watch for fast turnaround in earnings both this and next quarter. also great publicity for product and far east acceptance will only add to syquest growth. this is an investors dream. everything is coming together."

When you're talking about SyQuest the company and their existing sales growth potential, then I would mostly agree with your comments. But when you state: "this is an investors dream," I have to take issue.

Increasing sales is simply not enough. SyQuest has to be able to maintain some sort of profit margin. They have not yet given any real evidence that they can or will generate a decent return. Needless to say, SyQuest may become a stellar performer, or may continue their 3 year losing streak, but I believe there's far too much risk at this point in time to declare the stock "an investor's dream," unless you consider that the dream might also become a nightmare. <g>

Regards - Dale

Robert, syqt mgmt is giving the store away, not to current shareholders like you but to others. This stock is going nowhere, throw in transaction costs to get in and out (commissions, spread and contrary to posts her on SI, most people really don't buy at the 52 week low and sell at the 52 week high) and odds are extremly low you'll make money.

There are so many other stocks that are moving, or are undervalued, please don't waste your money and more importantly, your money's time here.

Decent product so buy one, but financially this company has cut too many sweetheart deals to everyone but shareholders like yourself. THEY WILL MAKE MONEY, you most probably will not. However, if you can get in on future private placements do it.

good luck.
