Don't forget about the 40% that CPQ has dropped over the past 7 months. Do you realize that CPQ at
40 in 3 years says the stock is flat when measured from it's highs last fall? I hope we can do a bit
better than that. If not, and if Dell and the competition continue to do well, I would not expect EP to be
speaking at the 2001 annual meeting...

That's exactly why I think Compaq is such a good investment now. Realistically, it is hard for me to think that CPQ will not be over 40 in 3 years. Value appeals to me, and a chance to earn 25-30% a year with a high degree of assurance is hard to pass up.
