Actually, I said the AMD sense amplifiers, which hung on the outputs of AMS 6001, weren't too bad.

And, I lied. It was the AMS 6002. I don't know if there was a 6001. If there was, it may have been 512 bits, which didn't cut it vs. core memory yet.

It might have been. The reason it was favored by some (here and at RCA Computer) was because it was faster than the 1103. That probably made Bob, Gordon and Andy mad enough to never let that happen again!
