It would be hard to make a guess. It depends on the growth rate of the PC X market. The market isn't like peanut butter or beer where people buy and consume the product and constantly need more. One copy of Exceed can last a long time. The market is determined by the need for constant growth in demand for PC X in the form of migrations or new users coming on board.

Therefore, it is hard to say that just because the market equaled a certain amount last year it will again equal or exceed that amount this year. This fact undoubtedly is the reason why the stock price is so depressed. It would help if someone (microsoft, Sun, IBM) came up with ways of making the old versions of Exceed obsolete, thereby forcing users to buy new copies. That is the way you make money selling software.

Bill.

From what I have heard, the PCX market is estimated to be worth about $250 million US per year, and a report by IDC last year predicted that the market will grow by about 15 per cent per year over the next few years.
