Jeff,
Short term out of the money calls! You must want to pay some options tuition. you'll learn soon enough that's a suckers game. Things never happen quit like you plan.(the crack cocain of investing). I've seen your posts on the CC. This Call was exactly what I expected, and they did the right thing by trying to keep estimates low. They have emerged from turmoil and are a stronger company for it. Big news out of the call, Remote Access is strong (this is what I worried about going in), it looks like strong sales are putting the hold on price cuts. If this continues we may see some real benefit in the margins(new chip from rockwell will lower costs dramatically). When asked about this the company skirted it, but the answer was clear, they want that padding so that if buying remains strong they can post upside suprises. Also no recognition of GX 550 sales this quarter, means they didn't have to reach to make the number and that they are using conservative accounting(3com may have done differently). All in all they left more cushion in there than a salvation army santa clause, they way ATM is going and now we know remote access is strong this stock is a no brainer.
